On June 9, 2025, AVAC Vietnam exported 120,000 doses of AVAC ASF LIVE to Indonesia, the first batch of ASF vaccines exported from Vietnam to Indonesia.
The vaccine received regulatory approval from the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture in April 2025, making Indonesia the third country to officially authorize the use of AVAC ASF LIVE after Vietnam and the Philippines.
According to Dr. Nguyen Van Diep, General Manager of AVAC Vietnam, to date, more than 3.5 million doses of AVAC ASF LIVE have been put on the market, of which about 3 million doses are used in Vietnam and nearly 500,000 doses are exported to the Philippines and Nigeria, and have received positive feedback.
The product is currently being registered in several other potential markets including India, Malaysia, Nepal, Myanmar, etc.
